The Science Accessibility Conference aims to connect university researchers, professors, students, K-12 science teachers, disability rights advocates, astronomers, scientists with disabilities, special education teachers, informal science educators, and anyone with interests that lie at the intersection of science and the need to provide equal access to it.

SciAccess will feature Keynote Speakers Dr. Temple Grandin, renowned autism advocate and professor of animal science, and Anousheh Ansari, the first female private space explorer.

This inaugural SciAccess Conference is being funded by The Ohio State University President’s Prize, an initiative founded in 2017 by OSU President Dr. Michael V. Drake. SciAccess is part of a yearlong project focused on disability inclusion in science and astronomy. For further updates, follow Astronomy Accessibility Project Coordinator Anna Voelker.

In addition to the President’s Prize, SciAccess is supported by generous sponsorships from the OSU Center for Cosmology and AstroParticle Physics and the OSU Innovation Studio. Thank you to our sponsors for making this exciting event possible!
