This page includes a list of current and future opportunities for volunteering and outreach. CEM Scholars are required to complete at least 5 hours of outreach per year that scholars are funded.

Ohio Science Olympiad – The Ohio State University

Science Olympiad is a K-12 nonprofit organization that seeks to provide STEM education and activities for all students. Division B events are for students in grades 6-9 to compete in, and Division C events are for students in grades 9-12. More information about the Ohio chapter of Science Olympiad can be found on our state website and general information at the National website.

Science Day at Parkmoor Elementary School – Thursday, February 20, 2020
Scientific Thinkers is in need of volunteers for Science Day at Parkmoor Elementary School. Volunteers who sign up will receive training and a have the option to carpool to Parkmoor from OSU’s campus. Volunteers will leave from OSU around 12pm and will return around 3:30pm (teaching from 1-3pm).
