This December, Lake Shore Cryotronics will host a joint workshop with CEM centered on measurement and instrumentation challenges. The workshop motivation is to determine shared research interests for future sponsorship or collaboration, to network with and provide professional development opportunities for students.

Lake Shore Cryotronics is a Columbus-based manufacturer of scientific instrumentation and sensors. In 2011, the Center for Emergent Materials and Lake Shore established an ongoing partnership. CEM and NSL work together with Lake Shore to develop new measurement systems.
